AuthorPilot is a web-app that lets you plan and schedule various book marketing tasks. It works based on 'templates': each template has a specific goal, e.g. Launch a new book, Create an automated welcome sequence, etc. Once you have selected a template, you just select a date you want to accomplish the task by, and the app will lay out all the steps you need to take to stay on track and finish on time. No more guesswork. Think of it as an assistant that tells you what to do, and when!
The majority of templates we have available at the moment are focused on fiction. That being said, the processes in some of them can 100% be applied to non-fiction projects as well. Plus, we'll soon have non-fiction-specific templates coming to the app. Watch this space!
It depends. Some templates work best if your book is ready for publication, others can be used even if you don't have a single sentence written yet! Each template will have a 'prerequisites' section, where we will indicate whether or not the specific template will work best with someone who already had published books, an audience, etc.
